Second Whale Washed Ashore

A second dead whale was found this afternoon north of San Pedro near Kitty’s Place. Dive master Elbert Greer of White Sands Dive Shop, who was able to photograph the animal, speculates that it is a pygmy sperm whale. The first whale, discovered yesterday further north of this location was apparently removed earlier today by the Hol Chan Marine Reserve staff and confirmation of the type of whale it was has yet to be made.
