Lifetime San Pedro Resident and mother, Mrs. Guadalupe Couch aka Lupe; recently suffered from kidney failure. She is in dire need of dialysis treatment twice per week and/or a Kidney Transplant.
The family is preparing from what more than likely will be a very costly battle to assist Mrs. Lupe. In an effort to assist the family, the Reef Radio will be hosting an all radiothon on Thursday April 14th. Occurring simultaneously with the radiothon will be a lunch Bar-B-Q sale as well as a dollar drive. The family is looking for any assistance that could be afforded. Please note that no donation is too small.

The Best Medicine by Joey Clarke at San Pedro's Paradise Theater
Coming soon to San Pedro - the newest presentation from the makers of last year’s most popular plays: the bewitching drama Devilish and the hilarious comedy Trea$ure. On Friday April 15, Gato Negro Productions presents the Best Medicine at the Paradise Theater.
Joining to celebrate writer-director Joey Clarke’s play on the Paradise Theater stage will be rising and established Belizean stars: Diane Garcia, Pamela Gideon, Berne Velasquez, Jason Pascual, Rodvern Lino, Ishmael Quiroz, Chris Gordon and Tessa Matus.
The Best Medicine tells the story of old Mr Moody, who likes to believe he is very, very sick. In fact he believes it so much, he can’t see what’s going on around him: his scheming wife, his daughter’s new love interest, and his crafty housekeeper who thinks she can fix everything. When he tries to marry his daughter off to his doctor’s nephew, his whole world turns upside down. Featuring four original songs, and enough comedy to fill a dozen bedpans, the Best Medicine shows what real health is, with the class and polish our audiences have come to expect.
