News reached The San Pedro Sun office that there was a fire at Caye Caulker. Two houses were completely destroyed on the end of Park Street and Seaside and one structure received partial damage. 4th Annual Boat Parade
Final preparations are ongoing for the 4th Annual Christmas Lights Boat Parade. The event is schedule for Saturday December 5th in San Pedro Town. The Holiday Boat Parade brings a wonderful night to San Pedro with lighted boats decorated in themes that rival some of the best parade "floats" with some of the most artistic Christmas designs.The parade starts at 6:30 PM and this year's parade route begins in Boca del Rio and heads south, passes all of the San Pedro shoreline and makes the turn-around at Caribbean Villas Resort, heads back to Boca del Rio and then the final leg to Central Park for all of the festivities. This year's festivities include the wonderful viewing of the lighted boats, Santa visiting the docks with goodies, face painting, music by DJ Debbie, awards and more. The kids can also take advantage of taking their picture with Santa.
ACCSD to file injuction against SPTC
The Ambergris Caye Citizens for Sustainable Development (ACCSD) on Friday, was back before Honorable Justice Hafiz in Belize’s Supreme Court where they were contesting a claim against Dave Mitchell and Grand Belizean Estates.
