Lime's Pasta/Lasagna Cook-off

Lime Bar and Grill was again the place to be for Friday night. Presenting their Pasta/Lasagna Cook-off cooks, both amateur and professionals, from across the island rendezvoused to "party central" once more to take part in another FOTHS (Friends of the Humane Society) fundraiser. At $10 an entry, patrons got the opportunity to sample all the delicious entrees available. At the end of the night, those same patrons were the grand judges of the night. With 13 entrees it was a really difficult decision with the best pastas on the island. Taking first place was Jacques Mcpake with a fantastic Beef Lasagna, a close second (very very close) was Sunset Grill with their Seafood Lasagna. Rounding up the winners' circle was Hungry Monkey's Beef Lasagna. FOTHS' goal was to raise $800 to light up Fort Dog and their goal was met with $800 being raised on the $10 food tickets while $140 was received as a donation. At the end of the night, Bob Hamilton of Coral Beach Realty won the 3-day golf cart rental from Cholo's Golf Cart Rental.It was another successful cook-off and organizers are already planning their next event - Appetizers.
