Bear Travels: Current Location - Ambergris Caye, Belize

5th graders in Phoenix are sending Bear around the world. His first stop was California, and he's now in Belize! Bear arrived on Friday, just in time for Hurricane Richard. He was hosted by Nancy Nida of Fido's Courtyard, who ensured that shades & flip-flops were on before heading out to tour the island.

Bear has gone fishing, joined the ladies in the kitchen, and naturally, is enjoying a bit of R&R in the sun. Where will Bear head to next?

San Pedro rocks out during the weekend

Music lovers had an amazing weekend with some great music - Kelly McGuire and Jerry Jeff Walker dazzled their audiences as the sang in front of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

What an absolutely great way to pass the lazy afternoon. Fans sang along to the tune of some of their favorite songs and waited patiently at the end of the sessions for autographs. Kelly had two days of rocking music, the Saturday night at Ramon's Village while on Sunday the venue was the Sand Bar.
Jerry Jeff Walker on the other hand, joined Dennis Wolfe and the Usual Suspects and strummed his guitar to the island tunes.

Angela Gegg (Proshka) hosts Art Show at Belizean Arts

Belizean Author and Artist Angela Gegg arrived in San Pedro eager to showcase her latest creation. Gegg’s exhibit took place at Belizean Arts Gallery deep within Fido’s this past Saturday.
