Good Friday Liquor Sales Notice from the SPTC

The San Pedro Town Council and the Liquor Licensing Board inform the general public of the sale of liquor on Good Friday as follows:

Only establishments holding a Restaurant Liquor License will be allowed to sell liquor during the day.

All other liquor establishments ARE NOT ALLOWED to sell liquor from Thursday Midnight 12:00a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Good Friday.

The cooperation of all the establishments is requested and appreciated. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the cancellation of their license.

Planned Power Outage - San Pedro Town - Sunday, October 3, 2010

Belize Electricity Limited advises its customers in San Pedro Town that the supply of electricity will be interrupted from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Sunday, October 3, 2010.

Areas to be affected: All of San Pedro Town.

BEL apologizes for the inconvenience caused but this outage is necessary for the company to carry out maintenance work on the San Pedro and Maskall Substations.
