UPDATE:
After the units (Anti-Drug Unit (ADU), BDF, Police, Coast Guard) combed the area both by night and day, no visible signs of any plane wreckage was found. Their investigations continue. A flyover of the area is scheduled sometime today.


Unconfirmed reports of a small plane going down at approximately 9PM tonight near the Rocky Point area several miles north of San Pedro have reached our office. Reports are that the Coast Guard, Mexican Navy and local police are currently investigating the area. A reporter has been dispatched to the scene and we will update this report once new information has been gathered.



















The skies are grey, but the temperatures are still warm - and at 5pm, the noise level at the San Pedro Airstrip was multiplied as screaming fans greeted the much anticipated reggaeton duo, Angel y Khriz.



Friday Night for Costa Maya is a night of culture and music, and this Friday was no different as the stage welcomed the Ballet Folklorico de Quintana Roo's (Mexico) cultural dances, Belize's very own Nu Generation Dance Group as part of the entertainment before the main draws of the evening. Guatemala's Mario Mejia serenaded the crowd with a mix of both English and Spanish songs, including his very own originals.
Honduras' Yerbaklan duo of Csarec and Jimmy James definitely brought the hype on the stage afterwards with their very unique mix of music...and the girls of Costa Maya Pageant 2010 even got on stage to party with them....
