San Pedro NEMO members in training

The San Pedro Branch of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) conducted a training exercise for various stakeholders and members of the committee. The training was conducted at the Social Security Building on Pescador Drive. The one day workshop was entitled Emergency Operation Management Training, and was aimed at reviewing the island’s evacuation plan in the event of a natural disaster. The training was conducted by NEMO Coordinator Jeromey Tem-rose Augustine and some 20 people from various government and none government organization took place.

Feeling the Halloween Spirit

School children in various primary and pre-schools on the island went to school dressed a little strange today. That’sbecause they took the Halloween spirit to their schools dress in various colorful costumes.
