San Pedro AIDS Commission unveils signs

The San Pedro AIDS Commission is proud to display two new signs on the island. One is placed at the San Pedro Roman Catholic School's fence while the other has been painted on the fence of the San Pedro High School.

The signs were funded by the San Pedro Lighted Boat Parade. The Boat Parade committee had extra funding after a successful event and donated the monies to three charities. The San Pedro AIDS Commission was one of the charities that gratefully received the funds.

New Location - Port Authority

The Belize Port Authority San Pedro branch announces to the general public its change in location from the San Pablo Area to its present office at the South Marina. Their office hours are as follows:

Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Weekends - clearance only

Easter 2010 in Photos

Easter 2010 was a blast from start to finish. Hundreds of people streamed in to take advantage of the 4-day weekend on La Isla Bonita, and everywhere one looked, people were taking advantage of sun, sand and sea. The religious aspect of the holiday was not overlooked, and Good Friday saw the annual procession through the streets of San Pedro. Afterwards, Saturday and Sunday comprised of various planned activities - there was fun for everyone. It was truly a fabulous Easter!!
