Little Angels Graduates

The Little Angels Pre-School also celebrated their class of 2008 with a ceremony at the High School Auditorium. The show brought out proud parents along with their siblings dressed to impress the crowd. Master of Ceremonies was Reef Radio's Jorge Aldana whilst Senator Eiden Salazar was special guest speaker of the day.

In lovely white dresses and black and white suits, the graduates seemed just as ecstatic as the parents in the audience.

Senator Eiden Salazar gave an insipiring speech as guest speaker.
Are we done yet?! Little ones eager to get the celebration started.

ABC Graduation

With their first milestone in education completed, the ABC Pre-school celebrated with style their graduation ceremony with a church mass. The pre-schoolers or in this case "graduates" all donned in their beautiful white dresses and the boys in their khaki and white outfits were quite a spectacle as they paraded from the RC School to the catholic church. Congrats little ones!

Chanting their last "hurrah" as class of 2008!

Friday Nite Fair

The town was hopping over the past weekend, and especially on Friday and Saturday as the fair grounds was open to the public. Residents and fair goers visited the grounds for some exciting rides on their Ferris Wheel (merry-go-round'), musical crazy chairs and the head spinning "Trabant". For those that needed a dose of 'fear', a spooky house was thrown in the mix where only the fittest comes out ALIVE!(fun, fun) With food, drinks flowing, and the music blaring, it made for a fun night out in town. Be sure not to miss the Dia de San Pedro festivities this weekend coming.

Spectators wait to catch a turn
the Ferris Wheel was a hit!
Among the many games, the "marble games" drew a crowd!

Moon Solstice

The moon rose over a navy blue sky...it was a gorgeous night
Last night saw a breathtakingly HUGE moon over the Caribbean! This year's Solstice was on Wednesday, June 18th. A larger than average moon rose from the east - and science tells us that the moon was hanging especially low last night!

The moon plays peek-a-boo through buildings and cabanas over at Belize Legacy Resort

The eerie glow was interesting

Right on cue, the power went out...but came back just as this shot was taken - oh well!
