San Pedro Lobster Festival Kicks Off at El Divino

The San Pedro Annual Lobster Festival kicked off last night at El Divino at Banana Beach. With steel drum music, lobster dishes and DJ tunes, the evening was enjoyed by many. The celebration continues throughout the week, with a Lobster Luau hosted at Mojito Bar & Grill this evening!

International Boxing in San Pedro

In honor of Father's Day, King of King Productions put on a spectacular boxing event at the SPHS Auditorium on Friday evening, June 17.

There were 6 rounds of boxing, showcasing the skill and stamina of 6 Belizeans versus 6 Mexican boxers.

In the end, it was a split victory, with 3 wins and 3 losses for both Belize and Mexico.

ABC Pre School celebrates Father’s Day

Over 50 proud fathers gathered at the ABC Pre School on Friday Morning, June 17th, creating arts with their child. This was done in an effort to celebrate fathers – providing a bonding experience between father and child – in honor of this special day.

Man Shot North of San Pedro

Reports have reached The San Pedro Sun that one man, identified as Freddy Jaime, was shot shortly before 8pm tonight in the Sueño del Mar area, some ten plus miles north of San Pedro Town. Apparently the victim was shot twice in the upper left chest. The man is listed in critical condition and was emergency airlifted to Belize City for hospital care. We will post more reports as information becomes available.
