At least 1 injured in boat accident

The San Pedro Sun confirmed that at least one man was seriously injured in a boat accident. The incident happened about midday today at about a mile and a half North of San Pedro Town, and it involved a local fisherman and the captain of a tour operating company on the island. While we are unable to disclose the name of the injured person at this time, he is of Hispanic descent and a resident of a Barrier Reef Drive address in San Pedro Town. The injured man was airlifted to a medical facility in Belize City for further treatment.
