After yet another round of eliminations, Alma Encalada and Glenda Gentle are the final two winners who edged out other competitors in the fifth and final round of competition. They now join the previous weeks' 8 winners in the upcoming Grand Finale to be held at Jaguar's Temple Night Club.

St. George's Caye Day celebrated on La Isla

Belizeans and residents of San Pedro came out en masse for the official coronation of Miss San Pedro, Lizette Vasquez and to commemorate with grand style the battle of St. Georges Caye Day celebrations. After the coronation and a massive school parade around town the crowd gathered at the Caliente beach bash for the official weigh in of the St. Georges Caye Day Family fishing tournament. The "Uprising" crew reeled in the most fish and took the top prize for the St. George's Caye day family fishing event.
